Outer Body (outside the door)
The outer body is the side with the keypad — it touches the weather and the public.

|---|---|---|

| 2 | Status LED lamp | Shows the lock's current state (idle / locked / error) |
| 3 | Battery lamp | Lights up when batteries are low — replace all 8 cells |
| 4 | RFID card reader | Tap a registered card here |
| 5 | Reset button | Resets the lock to factory defaults (rarely needed) |
| 6 | Emergency battery terminal | Touch a 9 V battery here if the lock is dead |
| 7 | Mechanical key hole cover | Slide to expose the keyhole for the mechanical override |
| 8 | Outer body handle | Pull down to retract the latch/bolt after a successful unlock |
Emergency battery terminal
If the lock is unresponsive and the Battery lamp is dark:
- Get a 9 V alkaline battery (sold separately).
- Touch the battery's + and − terminals to the matching contacts under the outer body.
- While holding the 9 V battery in place, enter your PIN or tap your card as normal.
- Once the lock powers up and unlocks, immediately replace the 8 AA cells inside.
Inner Body (inside the door)
The inner body holds the batteries and the inside controls.
| Part | What it does |
|---|---|
| Battery cover | Slides off to reveal the battery compartment |
| Alkaline AA batteries | 8 × LR6 cells — main power source |
| Registration button | Used to enter programming mode (PIN / RFID changes) |
| Open / Close button | One-touch unlock or lock from inside |
| Dual lock button | Engages privacy mode — outside PIN/RFID are ignored until released |
| Inner body handle | Pull down to retract the latch/bolt from inside |
Dual lock mode
info
Dual lock (sometimes called privacy mode or vacation mode) blocks all outside access — even with a valid PIN or RFID card. Use it when you want true privacy inside.
- Activate: press the Dual lock button on the inner body. The status LED on the outer body will indicate dual-lock mode.
- Deactivate: press the button again, or simply turn the inner-body handle.
